Surat Basin Operations

Downes Survey Group manages its Darling Downs operations from an office on the Warrego Highway on the eastern side of Chinchilla. This location provides a very convenient centre of operation for surveying and town planning activities in the Surat Basin. During the past nine years we have seen significant change in the region from mining and energy projects to land development and the council amalgamations. Our experienced locally based survey crews, senior staff and town planners know the local people and work together to achieve the best results.
